'Make this space a nice recreation room for everyone who works in this office'. That was the assignment Carolien received in the second episode of The Interior Project VIPS. She thoroughly tackled the space with the theme 'Work hard, play harder' and fully reflected her own signature in the end result. And with success, because she won this second episode!

How I created this project

In the recreation room there is plenty of space to drink coffee or relax in another room. for an informal consultation. Various corners were created, one corner of which used a TOSIZE Furniture shelving unit for seating . Carolien designed a cupboard and made it together with Van de Bunt Interieur completely own. They painted the cupboard in a bold purple color, which fits perfectly with the beautiful color palette. They made seats in it themselves, which are slightly deeper than the cupboard, to create a comfortable sitting position. These were reinforced at the bottom to provide sufficient load-bearing capacity. Finally, the cabinet was decorated with aku panels that were attached to the back wall. As far as we are concerned, a wonderfully successful project and of course the rightful winner!
