Black table top for toy drawer and desk, by Charlotte

Charlotte bought her son a desk and a toy drawer. She has placed a black furniture panel on it, which gives it a completely different look. This way, the children's furniture fits nicely with the rest of the furniture in the house.

We bought a desk and a toy drawer from Petite Amelie and made a black top on top of it from a furniture panel from TOSIZE.pt. We are very happy with it, and our son is especially happy!

How I made this project

We bought the toy box/drawer and the Brise children's table at Petite Amelie. The dimensions for the sheet were 130.0 x 48.5 cm. We opted for the black oak furniture panel. All sides are finished with ABS tape in the matching color. The top fits perfectly with our other furniture. We placed self-adhesive anti-slip buffers on the top of both the desk and the toy box, this prevents the top from sliding and so we did not have to screw the top down.
