From an office in Amsterdam the request came to make a cupboard for the canteen and a TV cabinet for a relaxation corner.

How I made this project

By means of a mortise and tenon construction, both pieces of furniture are prepared so that they can ultimately be glued. The china cabinet is equipped with 'Push-to-open systems' for the doors and drawers. Holes have been drilled in the body for the doors. The drawer guides are already equipped with the 'push-to-op system'. The cabinet was then painted. The ends must still be prepared for this, so that they do not absorb too much paint. This is done using a mix of wood glue and water, after which they still need to be sanded. The TV cabinet has a clear lacquer finish.
