Custom bookcase and subwoofer made of MDF, by Tristan

Description

I ordered MDF wood via OPMAATZAGEN.nl for 2 projects. where we designed a bookcase for the living room ourselves. With push-to-open doors and oak shelves, this is the perfect solution for us to keep the living room tidy.
The other project is a subwoofer for a home cinema.

The bookcase is constructed from 12mm thick MDF sheet material.
The cabinet is divided into segments (bottom, side walls, etc.) so that they are easy to build, mill and paint.
The mutual segments have been worked with a bevel to accentuate the division of the mutual segments.
For the shelves we have chosen solid oak planks (purchased elsewhere), these are supported by wooden dowels.
The doors are recessed and attached with a push to open system to keep the cabinet as tight as possible.
