Description by Roel
For our TV corner we have hung a BESTA (IKEA) piece of furniture, on top of which a custom worktop from { { tosize_current_site_name() }} and let this sheet go through so that the bench is less visible. This is finished with aku panels, which makes it a whole.
How I made this project
The bench was deeper than the furniture from IKEA. For this reason I mounted a beam frame on the wall that provides an extra 4-5cm. This frame is mounted with wedge bolts and immediately provides a good foundation for the oak leaf of TOSIZE.pt. I mounted the IKEA Besta on the frame, including cable entry. After installation, I measured everything for the custom worktop and took into account that the wall is not 100% straight. After receipt, the top was placed on the TV cabinet, secured with a few screws to prevent sliding and the corner was then finished with acoustic panels with an oak look. The result is a floating TV cabinet and a dog crate that disappears into the furniture. The residual wood will be used to test the oil to treat the wood and possibly a wall shelf in the house.
