From the beginning of our renovation I already had an idea in my head about what I wanted to do with this wall. A timeless design and peace on this wall were important to me. It concerns a niche in the wall, which therefore had to retain a peaceful appearance. I saw TOSIZE.pt pass by regularly and decided to make and execute a design myself.
I started with the 3D design via the site, symmetry was very important to me in this cabinet. So after some sliding and measuring, and still with a little help from TOSIZE.pt I had it equal to the cm on both sides. The nice thing is that the design is saved, so you can also share it with others and/or change it.
The cabinet is delivered to your door, and actually it is also in order. So everything neatly laid out inside with the stickers on top. A good preparation is half the work!
The cabinet was standing, after a few hours because the children kept us from working ;). When the cabinet was standing, I couldn't wait to paint it. I sealed the seams and filled the sides. After these were dry, I sanded it and started with the finishing coat. I used the color WE M136 from Colora in the matte finishing coat. The walls, ceilings and skirting boards also have this color in the house. I finished the cabinet three times. So that I have a good base. And it's also fun to do!

The furnishing

After a day everything was ready and I could finally decorate my purchased items. I kept everything in the beige shade, okay.. that's my whole house! But here too I went for simplicity. In the middle a frameTV from Samsung with a light oak edge. You can endlessly slide accessories in this side. If you get tired of it, you grab new stuff and you have a whole new closet again.
At the bottom of the cabinet we have the TV cabinets and the Nintendo. All the power outlets are hidden in here. I am really happy with this cabinet, and it remains timeless! More inspiration? Check out my instagram account @huisjemerlin .
