Description

My girlfriend and I are moving in together. And because we both work from home, we converted the guest room into an office.

We bought a folding desk online with an MDF oak veneer desktop. However, this was the only one that was suitable in terms of dimensions and capabilities. Unfortunately, the desktop was so ugly and did not match the interior that we decided to buy it anyway, but then replace the top with something beautiful and appropriate. We had the top custom made from cherry wood by TOSIZE.pt.

Work description: how did you realize your project

I'm quite handy, but you can find it in the hardware store you just don't have nice panels or wood with the right width. In addition, it was very important that the dimensions had to be exact with the original table top, otherwise the top would not fit on the base.
Fortunately I came across TOSIZE.pt and I selected from the diverse range of wood can make a choice.

I measured the exact dimensions of the original desktop and ordered a cherry kimmer panel from TOSIZE.pt. It was delivered on time and is very nice wood!

I had to transfer some metalwork from the original desktop and the end result is great.
