This Perforated Hardboard comes from Finland and is light in colour. The holes have a diameter (Ø) of 4.8 mm and are 12.7 mm apart centre-to-centre.
MDF Black V313 is a good choice when you want to make a piece of furniture in a dark colour. The sheet is black through and through, which ultimately saves time on finishing in the desired colour. Priming is not necessary, simply lacquering in a transparent or dark colour is sufficient! An additional advantage is that MDF Black is moisture resistant, which makes it suitable for humid indoor areas.
MDF Film is provided with a white, strong film that makes priming of the material superfluous. So it is very suitable for making furniture for indoor use that you want to lacquer. The sheet consists of wood fibres compressed under high pressure. This makes the material easy to machine and it does not splinter.
MDF moisture resistant is the V313 variant for use in humid areas. A bathroom cabinet is a good example where MDF moisture resistant is the perfect solution. The sheet consists of wood fibres compressed under high pressure, and a special, water-resistant adhesive has been used for MDF moisture resistant. This makes the sheet a bit sturdier and it can be sanded even smoother for a nice finish.
MDF Natural is the standard, untreated version of the many types of MDF available. The sheet consists of wood fibres compressed under high pressure. This makes the material easy to machine and it does not splinter. It is important to degrease the material well before painting. The material also has an absorbent effect. Therefore, it is only suitable for applications indoors and in dry conditions.
