What did you make?
In connection with a new kitchen, I made a cove from MDF to allow for the installation depth of the ceiling extractor hood. I also immediately installed Philips Hue colored recessed spotlights.
How did you make the cove?
Black MDF was used because the final color had to be lava. Had this cut to size, which of course fit well the first time! Measuring is the most important part of the job. Then mounting slats were secured to the ceiling, MDF panels for mounting the ledge all around, which is used for mounting the ceiling plates. Sockets for spotlights and extractor hood installed, after mounting on the ceiling the finishing was quick and easier, the extractor hood will arrive next week which should fit in one go. Then plug it in and you're done!
What are the dimensions?
The dimensions are 280.0 cm x 70.0 cm.
