Description of Ildiko
Since the old kitchen fronts in our new garden shed were not to our taste and there were also curtains where we would have preferred doors, we ordered underlayment from TOSIZE.pt to give it a different look and feel. Measuring was done in no time and with the same drill that we had to drill the holes for the cabinet hinges, we also made the holes for the drawer "knobs". Saves on costs and it couldn't be easier!
How I made this project
We measured all the fronts that were there. Since they were IKEA kitchen cabinets, the fronts could easily be removed. With the old front as a template for the holes for the accessories of the Ikea cabinet, replacing it was a piece of cake. There are clamps on the legs of the cabinets on which you can click the skirting board, do not measure it too tightly in width, with us there had to be an edge before they could be installed and from eye or seat height you can hardly see that anyway.
Dimensions of my DIY project
We had different sized cabinets, but we were able to measure the fronts exactly the same as the previous fronts.
