Description

John created a new countertop for his kitchen island using white melamine-coated particle board. The doors in the kitchen, however, are made of black MDF. These materials give his kitchen a sleek appearance.

For the bathroom cabinet, John also used black MDF. Combined with white walls, this gives his bathroom a modern look. Check out his kitchen and bathroom for inspiration!

Project Description: How Did You Realize Your Project

The realization of a kitchen and bathroom cabinet.

Kitchen Cabinet

I designed and built a kitchen using white laminated particle board and black MDF V313. It consists of two units in one piece: a base unit of 2 meters by 60.0 centimeters, which contains the sink, and a kitchen island of 2 meters by 82.0 centimeters, on which a ceramic countertop with a bar is placed. All materials, including doors for the water island, are made of black MDF V313 cut to size by TOSIZE.pt, some of which are mitered to make the doors seamlessly blend into the cabinets. The material was milled to be clad with 1-millimeter stainless steel sheets. The kitchen island was later clad with solid oak planks.

Bathroom Cabinet

Additionally, I made a bathroom cabinet from the same material. I also had miter cuts made so that no "weld seams" are visible at the corners. It was then finished with a clear lacquer.

Result

Thanks to the perfect dimensions from TOSIZE.pt, I achieved, in my opinion, a very beautiful result.
 

Next Project

My current project is making sliding doors for the slanted areas of my attic. The next order has already been placed!
